It is a traceability document request at the moment of loading goods.

As from 26/08/2020 GRA – Ghana Revenue Authority Management informed that they are in a constructive termination process with GRA and hence, so no new CTN will be issued till further notice.
The issuing procedures change from country to country according to guidelines that you will find in the ECTN / BESC / WAIVER section.

All maritime shipments with final destination a Benin Port ( Cotonou) or in transit to landlocked country shall be regularized by a Bordereau Electronique de Suivi des Cargaisons (BESC).
The BESC/ECTN certificate is a necessary document requested by circular n° 019/MITMEF/DC/SGM/CTJ/SA/022SGG21 of 20/10/2021. Each B/L must be accompanied by an Electronic Cargo Tracking Note.
